Services:
It is the duty of the County Veterans' Service Officer to assist any resident of the State of Colorado who is a veteran, or their surviving spouse, administrator, executor, guardian, conservator, or heir by filing claims for insurance, pensions, compensation for disability, hospitalization, vocation training, or any other benefits which the veteran is entitled to receive. HIPAA laws bind the Service Officer and any discussions or information provided will be held in strict confidence.
Office Hours:
Office hours are held every Wednesday from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at Lake City Area Medical Center. For other times, please call in advance to make an appointment. For those with accessibility problems, the Service Officer will meet at your home in Lake City or arrangements can be made to use the county offices.

We want to help veterans turn their business aspirations into successful endeavors by making sure they are aware of the unique competitive advantages available to them such as exclusive grants, training resources, and mentoring.
